How it works! Position 2 TrailerLegs under each axle (from behind to back up or from the front to pull forward). Once you have all TrailerLegs facing the same way, place one assist a lift block (which are provided with each set of TrailerLegs) in front of each tire for pulling up and over, or behind each tire for backing up and over. Depending on your tire size you may find it easier to use a plastic stack block in place of the assist a lift block. (On trailers with tall tires or low ground clearance, "before positioning TrailerLegs" place either 2x4 blocks or plastic stack blocks in front of each tire then pull your tires up on them. Then proceed with positioning TrailerLegs). Now, with your tow vehicle in drive to pull up or reverse to back up on TrailerLegs (If using 4 wheel drive use high range) holding the brake down until you have achieved 50% acceleration, then at once release the brake and increase acceleration for a split second, then quickly apply brakes again. Now that you have observed your trailer tires lift up, momentarily put your vehicle in neutral and slowly release the brakes. Your trailer should push or pull a little bit allowing the TrailerLegs to settle which also removes pressure from your hitch for unhitching. Before leaving the vehicle put your tow vehicle back in park with the parking brake applied. (To help with gauging distance during activation, place a block in front or behind your tow vehicles rear tire depending on predetermined direction of travel approximately 18" away). Before you disconnect from your tow vehicle, take a blunt object and tap on the front or back side of all TrailerLegs so that the bottoms are completely on the ground. NOTE: This product doesn't work well with low profile trailers or trailers with low axles.
