We make our Polish this way for two very important reasons:

• 1. The Mineral Spirits (whilst smelly) help to soften the beeswax making it easy to spread and rub into your wooden furniture and flooring. Without this mixture the beeswax would be a solid block and impossible to work with.
• 2. The Mineral Spirits also help the beeswax to penetrate into the wood providing nourishment, help keep the wood moisturized and help prevent it from drying out and cracking.
